I’ve been excited to share this styled shoot with you that we designed and set up! Britt and Shawn are a newlywed couple who helped us with this rustic hiker’s wedding at a new venue: the Hitching Post of Maine. It was so fun working with these two and watching them recall the memories of their own wedding day! In this first photo of them, the beautiful restored barn is flawless in the background.
All stationery was designed by Doting and Details. Each piece features the olive branches surrounding hiking boot footprints with the lines across the bottom, all of which calls attention to the theme for the day. Aside from the invitation suite, you will see the brand throughout other various details.
The location post matched the rustic theme and pointed out where to find the events of the day.
Nancy at Little River Flower Farm designed and created the bridal bouquet and boutonniere. She matched the theme spot on and featured some of her favorite flowers grown at her farm.
Guests could easily locate their tables with these escort cards highlighted inside this beautiful vintage door. Tables were named by favorite national parks that offer great hiking!
The guest book was also inspired by the hiking theme. Each guest could fill a page with the date, distance traveled, the weather, thoughts they wanted to share about the day, and any other well wishes for the bride and groom.
Britt and Shawn are gorgeous in each of these photos and the beauty of the venue is captured so well!
The tablescapes pulled in the flowers from the bridal bouquet. There was no need for table cloths, as the well-crafted barnwood tables are better off exposed! The dinnerware features rentals available from A Plus Party Rentals.
At the Hitching Post, there’s a sweetheart table we used to set the bride and groom apart from the guests.
Dessert was beautifully baked and decorated by Autumn at Flour Events. She crafted delectable whoopie pies which accompanied the semi-naked cake.
Aside from dinner and dessert, guests could put together a trail mix and graze on it through the evening or take it home for a snack. The trail mix bar featured: craisins, sunflower seeds, dried bananas, almonds, cashews, dark chocolate chips, and sesame covered almonds.
The couples’ rings are featured here resting on top of the favors: homemade coasters wrapped in twine and ribbon, topped with a thank you note.
Thank you Britt and Shawn for working with us on this beautiful shoot! We wish you all the best in your new marriage. This styled shoot was:
