Chebeague Island | Charlie and Peter

As Portland received some of its first hot weather of the season, we were escaping to Chebeague Island with a cool breeze, to celebrate Charlie and Peter. 

We welcomed their guests onto the lawn for these two to renew vows and declare their intentions. It was the first wedding of our season and these moments quickly reminded me why we plan weddings and celebrate love!

Leading up to the day, Charlie and Peter had a lot going on in their lives, like so many of us this year. They’ve been raising a puppy, bought a house, finished grad school and more! With a lot on their plates, we were glad to help make sure they weren’t forgetting an important element to their wedding day.

After the renewal of vows, guests wandered about the property and enjoyed good conversation with drinks in their hands. And their day followed a typical timeline with great food, traditional dances, and rounded itself with A LOT of great dancing – thanks to their band! 

We meet so many good people through our work and this wedding was no exception. Charlie and Peter have kind hearts and their guests were absolutely the best!
