Lanie had a vision for their wedding day from the beginning and she lit up anytime she talked about the day— whether that was to talk about marrying Patrick or about the design details she was dreaming about! Despite the postponing, they had such a magical fall day in Maine. If you know me, you know I absolutely love summer here in New England, but there’s just something really special about our fall weddings.
I can’t get enough of these photos from Sarah Morrill. They feel SO Portland and also so very true or Lanie and Pat. For the design, Lanie put together this beautiful eclectic vintage mix that paired so well with the space at O’Maine. From what I know about these two, it was very representative of everything they fill their home with too. It was such a pleasure to bring her vision to life!
These two had the sweetest ceremony and a fun, laid back reception! Food trucks sprinkled the edge of the property and guests grabbed food as they were ready. It allowed for lots of great conversation between friends and family! And when the party got started, everyone was ready! I had never seen The Glitter Boys, but gosh, they did NOT disappoint! If you aren’t familiar with them, their Instagram states, “Professional Party People spinnin’ all vinyl dance classics of the 70’s & 80’s.” Yes, please! It was a niche for sure, but such a fun one that guests of all ages loved. It truly fit with all the vibes of the day!
We were so happy to see these two share this day with all their favorite people!
xo,
Cassie
