Avery and Jack | Migis Lodge

Avery and Jack were so intentional about their planning from the beginning. She had images saved that carried our inspiration through all of our plans. And although we hadn’t executed a wedding at Migis before, Avery welcomed a set of fresh eyes to the space!

Migis was an easy choice for these two because Avery grew up coming to “camp” in the summer and has a lot of memories that she was excited to share with Jack. There’s something absolutely magical about the property and you can just feel it the moment you begin walking around.

The design really drew inspiration from the property itself. They wanted a woodsy, camp vibe that was elevated and beautiful as well. We were able to bring more of the outside in with a lot of overhead greenery and paid close attention to the table settings where we chose lighter colored linens to brighten the space and stunning blue velvet napkins that we adorned with ribbon! The table numbers were also a nod to Avery and Jack’s favorite things– they were on a seeded paper, carefully selected to pull things together! We also made sure to have thoughtfully selected lighting to pair with the space, which is a little challenging with their lower ceilings. But it was well done thanks to our lighting team and of course, we added PLENTY of candles for ambiance!

It was such a beautiful affair that began with a lakeside ceremony where Avery arrived with her bridesmaids on the boat (we loved this!!) and guests were raving about the day! Everyone was dancing with the band, but also very happy to be visiting in the living room space near the bar, taking photos with the polaroid camera! And the formal portion of the night ended with an amazing fireworks display over the lake, which was a fun sendoff to the after party!
