What a weekend! Libby and Sanjay set out with a vision and as we were planning, it shifted a bit– no surprises here though, it happens! Libby landed on a colorful, whimsical day on the coast and we were psyched to bring that to life with a lot of talented vendors!
We were able to plan their Friday event with them too and although it was a classic Maine lobster bake, it wasn’t quite so “classic.” We elevated it with some fun rentals and a mix of blues and pinks! Guests were able to experience a part of the French’s Point property that is often overlooked. With coastal garden party vibes, guests were welcomed onto the terrace with acoustic music and delicious appetizers. Guests were then moved closer to the water where they indulged in fresh Maine lobster and listened to some incredibly entertaining speeches from some of their best friends! Everyone got to enjoy the best sunset and casually danced to live reggae music! The evening rounded out with a toast from the groom, champagne and fireworks!
It was so fun to see Saturday unfold. Earlier in the week, we were able to watch some of the design come together, but it is always amazing to see it all finished and untouched. From the watercolor details from Blue Novella to the lush floral Honeysuckle Way provided, the lighting that brought the design high into the tent, the beautiful bar display, and the rentals that pulled everything together, it was a colorful, coastal chic wedding!
The ceremony was so beautifully them and although it was a super hot June day, the wind picked up just in time to cool everybody down. Our team even had to sneak out and hold the tent for the ceremony musicians because the stakes kept coming out of the ground! After the ceremony, it was a pleasure to see guests enjoying the French’s Point patio during cocktail hour, a space they hadn’t seen yet. As they walked into the tent for the reception guests were welcomed with live music and a pre-dinner dance party! It was so fun to see everybody on the dance floor before enjoying their meal in good company.
The evening was a blast! The band kept everyone on the dance floor and the fun light up dance props near the end of the night were a hit: faux floral crowns, cowboy hats, maracas and tambourines! This crew was very glad to be celebrating this incredible power couple!
