Sarah and Jack | Wells Reserve at Laudholm

I first connected with Sarah when I saw that Jack proposed to her at Ocean Park, one of my absolute favorite places to go to the beach! I quickly learned it was a place special to Sarah and her family as well, and now to Jack! When she and I first talked, she shared all of her dreamy ideas with me and I was so excited to dive into the plans with them! 

Planning for 250 people isn’t an easy feat! As many of you probably know, there aren’t many spaces in Maine that can accommodate such a large guest list. Yes, we’re planning the same details, but we have to be so much more thoughtful about the execution of it all and therefore the details we select. And of course, execution has to be well thought out as well, from setup to the flow of the day and movement of the guests throughout the event. It takes a full team to make it happen and we’re grateful to our team and the vendors we were able to work with!

This day was a beautiful celebration! Covid isn’t making anything easy these days and their officiant wasn’t able to be in attendance, so Sarah’s dad stepped in at the last minute and helped these two get married in front of all their favorite people! Following arguably the best part of a wedding day (the ceremony), the celebration flowed through cocktail hour where guests spread out across the incredible grounds at Laudholm, dinner where Bread and Butter provided an incredible feast, and a fantastic dance party led by Plush – the best Maine band that you have to look into! 

One of my favorite memories was trying to pull Sarah and Jack for golden hour photos. It’s something they wanted to do, but with so many guests trying to steal their attention for a hug, a conversation, or a giant extended family photo, it was HARD to get them on that golf cart before the sun disappeared below the horizon!
