Trial and Error

All brides want to look and feel their best on their day! One way to make sure you do is to schedule a trial!

Here are a few of our favorite hair and make up tips to make your trial a positive experience.

1. Take into consideration your hair color, eye color, and skin tone when looking for inspiration photos! A look you show your stylist and artist might look great on Instagram but it won’t look as flattering if it doesn’t play to your features.
2. When you’re done and through out the process be honest about the parts you like and don’t like. Your vendors WANT to make you love it and you have to work together to do so, they can’t fix a problem they don’t know about! Give them the chance to make edits but say it nicely- kindness goes a long way.
3. If you’re still not sure- ask for a 2nd trial to try a new look!
4. After your trial- take pictures throughout the day. Take them in different lighting and at different times of the day. This is so important because it allows you to go back and see how your look sustained over hours like you’ll need it to for your big day and also if you like something in person but not so much in your photos (because you’ll have them for life!).
5. Last but not least- pick something that feels true to your style- not what you think would look good or what your stylist wants you to do, it’s your day and your team will make you feel like the beauty you are!
