One thing anyone will tell you about your wedding day is that it flies by. One way to make to ensure you get to soak in the special moments is to create pockets of alone time with your partner. Below are somme ways we’ve recently seen and loved this incorporated throughout your day!
Before getting ready gets started a non traditional moment we love and that I absolutely plan on adding to my timeline in August is sharing a cup of coffee together just you two. For me and my fiancé, coffee is one of our sacred morning routines and adding it to our wedding just felt right!
After your ceremony have your planner grab a couple of your signature drinks or glasses of champagne and catering staff make you a plate of apps and head to your venue’s bridal suite to take in your new status. This moment of escape lets you absorb that you really are officially married.
Couples know that you spend months and for some even the year leading up to your big day planning the tiny detail- details that others may or may not appreciate like you do! One way to take this in together is to add a private room reveal with your partner or anyone else involved in planning.
Plan a private dance- while lots of couples think to add this to the end of your evening, it can be tricky to escort guests out in time for your special moment. Lately- we’ve seen couple’s adding private dances to the end of cocktail hour!
Talk to your photographer about creating a moment like sunset photos at golden hour or if you plan an outfit change, have your partner change too or even help you change! This private moment can be a great opportunity to capture some fun photos and take a breather from the hustle and bustle ofthe night before you finish dancing the night away with your guests!
Regardless of how you choose to add romance and solace to your day- we can’t wait to spend it with you!
Love,
Marissa
