One of the reasons I love my job so much is because of the people we get to work with and Chris and Marjorie are definitely two of those people. From the beginning they were kind, fun, and personable. I absolutely loved getting to know them and their sweet children throughout our year of planning! In our role as planners, we learn so much about our couples and their families and actually knowing you is what helps us be successful at our job.
Their wedding day was one of those fall days with unpredictable weather. I don’t think people wish for rain, but these two completely embraced it. Their pastor delivered a beautiful ceremony, walking into the aisle to address the guests and in the end, their 3 kids helped announce them as Mr. and Mrs.! Food was at the center of the remaining parts of the day and it was well loved from 111, a company that Chris used to work at in his younger years! Claire, their daughter, gave a speech and she talked about watching her mom fall in love and then welcoming Chris into their family with her younger brothers.
It was such a bold day filled with incredible amounts of love and joy that filled up the room. Chris and Marjorie’s connection is one I admire and hope for my own marriage for all the years ahead. You can truly see it in just the way they look at each other. They are madly in love and it just pours out of them in such a fun way.
