Shandra and Pat’s day was full of personal and meaningful touches, and their trusted vendor team helped to make everything go off a hitch! These two did not want a traditional wedding and kept everything true to themselves, with fun and unique touches, and nods to the things they both love!
It was a scorching hot day in North Yarmouth, but these two still had one of the coolest weddings ever (which thankfully included an air conditioned barn for guests to cool off in). Their ceremony was a beautiful combination of both of their backgrounds and cultures! Deciding against a first look, Pat and Shandra saw each other for the first time as Shandra, accompanied by her dad, walked down the aisle. They chose not to read their vows at the ceremony, opting to read them privately to each other as the sun went down. It was such a special moment for them!
One of Shandra’s must haves for the day? A bubble machine! As they recessed out of the ceremony, they walked through a cloud of bubbles! Guests also had fun popping and playing with them as well, and brought the fun to cocktail hour where bubble wands were available!
In the barn, guests were able to mingle around and much on bites thanks to a grazing style menu from Fire and Co! Pat, a musician, even curated the setlist for the band, full of favorites for guests to dance the night away under another one of Shandra’s must haves: disco balls on the dance floor! But, by far the most memorable moment of the night was the speech given by Pat’s 4 year old nephew, Brayden.
We were so thankful to work with both Shandra, Pat, and their wonderful families, bringing the vision that they had for their day to life!
