Lily and Jude are the type of clients I just can’t wait to be friends with after our planning is complete. They are genuine, fun, and thoughtful people and I just loved working with them! From our meetings where their dog, Gus let me give him all the scratches, to the unplanned phone calls where COVID just took over, to the bravery around a fun design plan, it was a joy!
Lily wasn’t afraid to advocate for her and Jude right from the beginning and it’s a quality I admire! Honesty goes a long way with us! When they weren’t sure of what they wanted, they were comfortable asking for our recommendations. The trust went both directions.
Their weekend was one I will always remember. I still don’t think I’ve ever seen such a full dance floor for as long as we did!
One of my favorite memories (aside from Lily’s dad wondering why she was holding up dinner for her bustle, ha!) was when her dad was caught standing outside the tent about 20 minutes from the end, smiling and looking in, witnessing all the joy had by so many friends and family members. SO GOOD! It’s exactly why we keep planning weddings and look forward to many more in our future!
Another memory: walking into the bridal suite, communicating to the MOH that Gus was a bit dirty for photos (dirty dog and wedding attire— eek!) and then her expressing that to Lily and the laughter that followed!
I could says so much more, but at the end of the weekend, Lily and Jude both shared a few times how it was truly “the best day of my life!”
These vendors, were a HUGE part to the joy behind this weekend!
